Arrangements have been made to hold both Christmas Parties this year at the Bull’s Head Hotel.  The Monday Group party will be held immediately following bridge on Monday 16th December.  The Thursday Group party will commence at 18:00  on Thursday 19th December and will be followed by a bridge competition in the David Hughes Centre as usual, hopefully commencing by 20:00 at the latest.

The menu will be as follows:

Celeriac soup, Felin Honey parsnip crisps, sage (v)

Chargrilled cauliflower, roast chestnut, chicory shallots

Pickled mackerel, horseradish potato, beetroot


Pembroke roast turkey, pigs in blankets, bacon brussels, roast potatoes, cranberry

Pan fried hake, parmentier potatoes, clams, white wine sauce

Winter vegetable and herb suet pie, confit garlic mash, braised leeks (v)


The Bull Christmas pudding, brandy sauce (v)

Clementine tart, Armagnac ice cream, meringue (v)

Mulled pears, almond frangipane tart (v)


Two courses will cost £20, three courses £25.  To reserve your place at either or both of these events, please contact Sally Lloyd-Davies (Monday) and/or Joy Hughes (Thursday).  It will simplify administration greatly if you make the appropriate payment at the time you make your reservation and indicate your choices from the menu.
